I am running an entire Blackmagic studio with the UltraStudio 4K Extreme (12G SDI) connected to my iMac (Monterey v12.4) via thunderbolt cable. I was able to get everything to work and have done multiple recordings until yesterday morning. I believe Monterey was updated over the weekend- it has not run since that update, but I cannot find any settings to change.
Two issues seem interlinked:
1. Google Chrome can no longer detect my ultrastudio video or audio. They just aren't in the drop down. They were last week but now aren't there.
2. I can pull up live video on my BM media express but if I click on any other tab or application the video on screen freezes and the screen on the UltraStudio goes black.
I have uninstalled the latest version of the Desktop Media player and re-installed version 12.2.3 but that did not resolve the problem.
