ATEM 4 M/E Constellation HD - availability ?

Hello everyone,

Has someone already received the ATEM 4 M/E Constellation HD ? 1 M/E and 2 M/E are already available but so far nothing on the 4 M/E front... We ordered ours back in april.
Does anyone knows about the current availability ?

B&H updated their product page to state September 2022 availability. So, I'm just gonna put all of my other accessories to build that kit in storage for a while.

I wish we could have more information about availability sometimes as i thought the switcher was available everywhere on annoucement.
We were also counting on this switcher for a late august major international event. This and also the fact our old panels (2ME & 1ME) are not compatible with these new Constellation... Well too bad indeed.

It's not even at the IBC trade show.. So guess there are bigger problems with supply of parts..

This is unfortunate, but not unexpected. I do wish that BMD would be transparent about the supply issue. I'm at the point of whether I wait for it to ship, think about changing order for an 8k unit, think about whether the utility of a "Constellation Lite" is worthy (I have a MADI card waiting for deployment) , or consider other vendors - that may have their own supply issues.

I also thought about getting a 8K version instead the new HD. BUT besides the fact it's a much more expensive investment, it's also an almost end of line product whith no firmware updates since several months (or years ?).
We've already made the mistake of purchasing 2 M/E panels several months before new advanced 2 & 4 M/E line AND unexpected (?) complete discontinuation of control for the new models....
This is getting tiresome...

Anyone got any updates from BMD ? Is it scraped ? Total silence from Blackmagic for more than 6 months...

But it's still "Available Now" on the website, ever since it was announced so I'm still hoping.

No news at all, not even from our supplier...

Sometimes I'm wondering if this constellation switcher is a figment of my imagination... A collective hallucination...
Would be really nice to have some update from Blackmagic Design.

ATEM v8.10 has just been released and introduces firmware for the 4ME, so it looks like it could be shipping very soon

Although the ATEM v8.10 was released last week (with a specific firmware update for 4 M/E Constellation HD), B & H has put a "Spring 2023 availablilty" notice on their website...

No news from our usual retailers here, so I'd be not so confident for a "shipping soon". Well let's hope it is.

I got confirmation that for now only a tiny batch has shipped to dealers. So that will likely take forever

Geez, still can’t believe why Blackmagic announced it as « immediately available » and never actually bothered to inform customers it was not the case

Having actively supported the brand for years and praised quality and customer service, that is a huge setback

We have received a confirmation for our seller that they have received their unit and that we will be receiving it next monday. So there is finally some hope!

ProAV in the UK are showing they have several in stock available to ship immediately.

We just received ours from Midwest Photo - they are real after all!
