Atem Control only allowing 1 Computer to connect at a time

PostMon Jul 25, 2022 10:20 pm

Hi all, I’ve search the Internet in this forum and haven’t been able to find an answer to help me with my specific issue. I’m trying to connect to my Atem Switcher (television pro 4k) on two separate computers. It’s my understanding that this shouldn’t be an issue while all devices are on the same network. That I should be able to open atem control, go to connections, and select my Switcher or the IP address and connect multiple computers without issue. However, when I go to connect on a second computer, it does not pull up the interface once I select the correct switcher and click connect. It’s only when I close out the ATEm control software on my first computer, that the second computer automatically makes the connection with the Switcher .

Anyone have an idea of what might be causing the issue? All devices are on the same subnet, being passed out addresses by the same router. I can’t seem to figure out why it’s limiting me to one active interface at a time.

Thanks for the help!

Did you ever figure out this problem? Having the exact same issue with a TV Studio HD. Can connect with one computer but not another. I can see it in the setup but when I click the software button to launch the control it won't connect. It even lists the switcher in the connect window.

Are you sure your computers have different IP addresses? And are the IP addresses of both in the same subnet as the switcher?
