ATEM ISO swapping mp4 files to BM Raw issue with DR 18

Hi guys,

The steps in the ATEM manual to swap iso mp4 files for in camera BM Raw worked for Davinci Resolve 17, but it doesn't seem to work in DR 18.
This is the extract fro the manual:
"To change to use the higher resolution Blackmagic RAW files in your project, just select the camera originals button on the top right of the cut page window. The icon that looks like a little camera. Once you select this icon, you should see your timeline change as it’s now selected the Blackmagic RAW files, which are film gamma."

Please refer to screen attachment, the camera original button now has three options.
1. Disable proxies
2. Prefer proxies
3. Prefer original

Now when I select prefer original the sync bin changes to the raw files, but the time line still has the mp4 files. I'm now lost what do I do for the raw files to be used in the timeline instead of the mp4s?

Also is it normal to loose the multi cam function in sync bin when swapping for RAW files? I tried it without RAW files and the sync bi has the multi cam angles, but when I try the steps for swapping to RAW files all the camera angles are put into one angle in the sync bin.

I'm totally confused how's this meant to work? Can anyone one show us the steps with pictures please?

I'm having this same issue - essentially can't use DR 18 with the ATEM ISO project files and BRAW without some considerable time spent on a workaround...which I'd prefer not to do Can't go back to 17 because the BRAW files from the new Pocket 6k G2 can't be read by DR 17

I can confirm the same issue. A client of mine just asked me the same question via email and I tried to replicate it. DR18 always selects the ISO mp4 recording when you set it to camera orginal and not the BRAW file wich is in the same folder as the mp4. So basically, the preferred one click solution for ATEM ISO Recordings with BRAW camera originals is gone in DR18. This definiteley needs to be addressed with the next update.

I just was informed about the way to do it now. Not sure if this was always an option or if it is new, but it is simple. In the menu timeline there is an item called "switch to camera originals". This will switch your mp4s to the BRAW files. When using BRAW files in your timeline the item in the timeline menu now reads "switch to ISO recordings" which will bring back the compressed mp4s of the ATEM. Just tested it and it works for me.
