Using HDMI output from Computer as Camera input

PostSun Aug 14, 2022 7:46 pm

Hello all,

I realize that this might not be the right place for this question, but I'll ask it anyway. I working with a system that has three cameras connected to the Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Pro HDMI Live Stream Switcher. The fourth input is the HDMI output from a windows computer. There's two audio inputs from a sound board. The USB Output goes to to windows computer running OBS.

I play a MP4 file on the computer, the video appears as Camera 4. How do I capture the audio which is being carried by the HDMI cable connected to camera input?

Thanks for the assistance -- Bob Evans

Hi, which windows are you using?

See the YouTube video and understand how to route audio to HDMI. I think it’s similar with Windows 11:

On Atem, just select audio-Input. I think this is intuitive.
