Hi, nope. It works BiDirectional.
In is always in and same out is always out. You can use bidirectional which means (if you plug in in both Inuts):
What goes in HDMI-IN, will go out on SDI-OUT and Viceversa, what goes in SDI-IN, will go out on HDMI-OUT. This means you have two independent converters in one device (HDMI to SDI and SDI to HDMI).
Now I‘m not sure if its only for 12G or if this also works for 3G (could someone confirm?):
If you only plug in one Input, then both outputs (HDMI & SDI) will have same content.
Best regards
