hello,

I have a noisy Teranex AV. Add the fact that fan switches constantly between high and low speed and you may understand the unpleasant situation.

Any source for a new compatible part ?

Interesting : half the price of original and from a brand known for low noise products.

Will buy one to check if same airflow level...

Unit as proposed above:

So it produces almost twice the airflow and half the noise. I've changed out many of my BM units with these (after warranty expires) and it makes a night and day difference!

Received fan today. Coding color is different.

I'm not sure if BMD follows usual cabling for computers so I ask confirmation before something burn !

black to black
yellow to red
green to yellow
blue to blue

dB are a logarithmic scale, so going from 27dB to 14dB is like 30 times less noise

It’s just over 4X quieter, each doubling or stop=6db.
