camera fiber converter update

Hi,

I'm trying to update my blackmagic ursa broadcast G2 chain by installing the latest firmware 7.9.2 everything fine with the cams and viewfinder but i get an error when i try to update the camera fiber converter is that normal?

Have you read the instructions on powering the fiber converter when upgrading?

You need to power the camera trough the XLR4 power supply before trying to update the converter. As it will power down from SMPTE while upgrading the firmware.. Potentially bricking the unit if it goes wrong.
