Hello,
I am having an issue with a HyperDeck Studio HD not connecting to the LAN. The unit has been working perfectly for about 3 months and then stopped connecting. I changed nothing about the network or the HyperDeck in this time.
The HyperDeck is set to DHCP but will not get a correct IP address or subnet mask. The gateway is set to give addresses in the 192.168.3.6 - 254 range with the subnet of 255.255.255.0. The HyperDeck shows an address of 169.254.204.167 and a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0.
Setup
HyperDeck plugged into Ubiquiti USW-Pro-24-PoE. IP address by DHCP.
Troubleshooting
- Changed all cables
- Swapped cables with another HyperDeck
- Swapped ports on the switch
- Switched to a static IP
- Tied to ping both static IP and DHCP address
- Used non working HyperDeck switch port and cables with another HyperDeck (everything worked)
- Updated switch firmware
- Updated HyperDeck firmware
- Factory reset the HyperDeck
Has anyone else had this problem or do I just have a bad unit? Thanks in advance for any insight!
