vMix to ATEM Streaming Bridge

Has anyone discovered a way to send an RTMP stream to the Streaming Bridge that's not via an ATEM Mini? All I'd like to do is send my vMix RTMP out via the internet to a remote location, with the Streaming Bridge acting as an RTMP receiving server. It's a simple process and I use a software solution currently, but the Streaming Bridge does not currently facilitate what would be the perfect hardware solution.

I have seen the YT videos for OBS and Restream code solutions to stream to the SB, neither of which provides a solution for vMix.

I suggest using SRT with a dedicated SRT-Decoder for this setup.

Thanks, we've tried SRT.

Because one element is needing to use a 4G modem on occasion, SRT falls over, whereas RTMP appears more robust a link all day when part-utilising 4G.

It looks like we'll have to insert an ATEM Mini on the vMix output, just to get the RTMP signal in a format suitable for the ATEM Streaming Bridge - overkill, but not found another solution as yet.

SRT ist far more robust as you have FEC and you can adjust the buffer sizes on both sides.

Hi,

It's working here!
Over WAN connection with key.
(just configuring port forwarding)
