Network interface dead

PostSun Nov 27, 2022 11:56 am

Hi all,

I think I know the answer to this, but I just want to make sure. My Mini Pro has been working perfectly for months - streaming live to YouTube. Suddenly it does not anymore. The control software does not pick up the mini where it used to. The orange and green lights on the Mini's NIC are both on, all the time, even with the cable unplugged.

I have tried various cables, but the Mini does not register on the DHCP. It is 99.9% certain IMO that the NIC has died. We have regular blackouts where I live (don't ask...) but the system is on an inverter with batteries but perhaps somehow a spike got through that was beyond what the Mini's NIC can handle. Other devices which are connected to the router seems fine though. I have tested the Mini in my home network also, with the same results.

Are there any other ways to confirm this? The Mini is up to date with FW 8.10 as well as the control software.

Thanks.
