Hyperdeck Studio Mini Recording Issues

I have a hyper deck studio mini HD that’s a few months old and I’ve noticed that it seems to have an issue recording properly. I’ve tried a few different SD cards, all with the same effect (and the cards work on another unit I have).

When I hit record, the record light immediately starts flashing and nothing is recorded. The recording duration seems to be counting down, though.

Curious where to even start diagnosing this one.

I am having a similar issue with my unit as well, Hyperdeck Studio HD Mini. This unit is less than a year old.

I am using the recommended ProGrade Digital SDXC cards.

Sometimes the red led flashes when recording. Thats a sure sign that the file will have skips in the audio or may be corrupted.

Other issues:

FTP failures
Ignored HTTP commands e.g. Record

I can sometimes get success by unplugging it and plugging it back in. But that is a PITA since its in a rack. I've opened a support request and requesting an RMA to get this looked at before the warranty expires.
