Hello,

Does anyone already connect a BMD Talkback to a Hollyland Mars T1000 base station?
What is the best solution?

Why U need to connect ?
Everybody (editor and cammera operators) have own beltpack + headset .. No connection with ATEM is needed ..

Hello Roman Pytkin Pekarek,

Yes is true, it's possible that way, but when you need to have 3 wireless cameras and 6 more cable connected...

Yes, we've connected the two before - it's pretty simple with the Atem Constellation range as they have the 4-wire interface on the back which can be connected directly to the T1000.

As for why, because we had a mix of wireless cameras, wired cameras, and various other crew on the comms together and the T1000 only supports 4 users.

Does it works with the new ATEM Television Studio HD8 Iso? We have a Hollyland t1000 and we want to use it for wireless cameras and use the ATEM Talkback to the Wired BMSC 6k pro. ¿Can we use the Ethernet talkback connection from the Atem to hollyland?

MARS have not ethernet connection .. Its ethernet connector , but its ANALOG audio on it .. Theoretically u can connect headset connector on ATEM with this "ETH" connector .. But maybe there will be another signal levels .. And U need some correction .. U need some DYI :)

As I don’t have direct experience with the Hollyland I looked up their interface on the RJ-45. Turns out they use the same pin outs as we use on the Talkback RJ-45 on the back of the ATEM. This is unfortunate as the inputs and outputs are on the same pins. So you cannot use a stock Cat5 cable and note a Null Modem cable will not work either. I usually recommend cutting an Ethernet cable putting XLRs on the twisted pairs making it easier to troubleshoot connections. So in your case cut one cable and put a male XLR on one of the two middle pairs and female on the other. Connect them together and it should work. Of course please double check the plan to make sure my crossed eyes see it correctly. You should be able to make it work. I hope it helps.
