Live stream?

My clien needs that i have to livestream events to internet. I bought h264 pro recorder and it does not work properly. I can stream to livestream, but i considered to stream youtube and i did not worked. What bmd (or else) device work streaming directily to youtube?

No Blackmagic device does native streaming. Livestream.com wrote a special driver for the H.264 encoder, but no other streaming service has done that. Instead you will need a capture card like the Ultrastudio Mini-Recorder, and software like Flash Media Live Encoder, or Wirecast.

If you use a Windows PC you can use MX Light http://mxlight.co.uk/ , which will allow you to stream live to YouTube using your H.264 Pro Recorder. It also allows streaming the hardware encoded h264/aac stream, so very little CPU is required.
