intermittent microconverter biderectional SDI/HDMI conection

Hi,

we are currently running the image of a

"windows 10 pro pc, Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-6100 CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.70 GHz", through a "micro converter bidirectional sdi/hdmi",

to a "fora mfr 32 ruw"

Recently for unknown reasons the conection has been very fickle, disappearing and going to black with no apparent reason, the microconverter and its power cord being taped to the floor for extra safety. It only seems to be solved by a restart of the microconverter (via unplug, replug) or, preferably, the pc it self.
Does anybody konw what could be the cause of this mystery? I feel like the window of time in which it works is getting shorter

I'm also having trouble with a Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G, where I get only brief flickers of signal from my computer HDMI output (1080p60) on my ATEM SDI Pro ISO.

Plugging the HDMI cable into a monitor works fine. Plugging the HDMI cable into an HDMI capture card works fine. After hours spent troubleshooting with different HDMI sources, the problem seems to be the cable connection to the Micro Converter HDMI IN. Jiggling the HDMI cable gave a brief flicker of the computer screen image on the ATEM Camera 1 monitor. Thus far, I haven't been able to find a cable in my collection that works reliably with the converter, despite the fact that all of the cables work other HDMI device inputs. I will be researching best HDMI cables for use with the converter.

I'm researching this myself now. I would love to hear if either of you resolved the issue.
