Is it possible to unlock the sound settings - Compressor, EQ, Limiter, Expander on ATEM 1 M/E Production Studio 4K just like on the ATEM Mini & Pro's? I would like at least that basic audio setting without having to use an audio mixer.

No - the Fairlight audio control hardware is not built into the Atem Production Studio switcher.

The Atem Television Studio 4K Pro was the first Atem switcher with the enhanced audio controls - none of the models released before that have the hardware to use them. Even with the enhanced audio control, you're still limited to a single left-right audio output, so depending on your requirements, there's a good chance you'll still need an audio mixer anyway.

Thanks for clearing that up. Now I have to find a decent mic to capture sound but audio clipping is still my worry.

Use Behringer XR12 (or MIDAS MR12) .. It have perfect limiter .. U can insert it on final output and clipping is gone :)

As it goes I already have one of those but have been experimenting with OBS using Sonnet SE3 and deckling duo 2. The combination is so simply and less equipments to travel with to a job. And with OBS audio filters for limiting, compression and gain, I have been able to archive a quality audio on my streams as I capture audio directly into each camera. So I was thinking instead of selling my ATEM production studio 4k 1ME, I could take advantage of the inputs if only I can shape the audio as I now have 5 cameras.
I would have to use UltraStudio Recorder 3G for the 5th camera on a wide shot incase of sync issue.
