ATEM Mini Pro "Camera Failed" in Google Meet, Windows

Hi all, strange issue here.

On my Mac: My ATEM Mini Pro has worked great on my Mac in Zoom and Google Meet, and OBS.

On my Windows 11 machine: It works great in OBS, but not in Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.

I'm confused why it would work 100% on my Mac, and only partially work on my Windows machine. I've tried various frame rates, but it only works in OBS. Could it be that on Windows for some reason it doesn't like 1080p in Meet or Teams, but OBS is fine? If I have OBS's virtual camera on, I can use it in Meet and Teams, but that adds a bit of lag. I suspect it might be because OBS is sending a 720p signal to Meet and Teams, and the ATEM is trying to send a 1080p signal.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

Still having this problem. Is this just broken ATEM drivers in Windows?

I'm having the exact same issue on my Window's machines (all of them) with my ATEM Mini and Mini Extreme.

How can I get someone to look at this issue? It's been over a year and I'm relegated to alternative solutions because of it. Would love to use my ATEM with Google Meet. Anyone?

See you next year, for the same post again, I guess.

Hi Trevor,

It sounds like this could be a driver or compatibility problem on Windows. Have you tried setting the ATEM Mini Pro to send 720p instead of 1080p? That might fix the issue with Google Meet and Teams. You can also use OBS to lower the resolution before sending it through.
