Video Hub and ATEM

PostWed Feb 08, 2023 2:18 pm

Hello,

This is was I am trying to do, can you tell me if that would work, or any potential issues, or tips to make it better?

I have a VideoHub 12x12 where I have all my inputs and output of the room. I also have an Atem ME 1 Production 4K that I want to use for live switching. So what I did was to take 5 output from my videohub and send it to my atem. Therefore,, I can take any of my 12 inputs and send them the the 5 input of the atem.

At the same time, I took the MultiView, Program, Aux 1-2-3 of the ATEM and feed it back to the VideoHub so that I can send those to any of the output of the videohub,

Does it make sense? Will that "loop" cause any issues? On a practical way, it's awesome as I can send any input into the atem but also having the atem output assigned to any videohub output..

Thanks

Yes that is correct WAY .. Everything is going FROM/TO Videohub ..
If 5 inputs/outputs is reserver for ATEM , U have only 7 input signals and 7 output destinations then ..
