macOS Ventura not seeing Decklink Recorder

So I've been using my Decklink 4k in my Mac Pro 2019 for a while without issues; for the most part. The only time there are any problems it usually involves updates or installations due to the macOS security. But I always resolve it and use the card without further issues.

Well, yesterday I updated my Mac to Ventura 13.2.1 and noticed that the deckling card no longer shows in the Blackmagic software. The machine sees the card, it just won't display in the black magic software like there is another macOS security element preventing it from displaying.

I've triple checked everything in the settings/privacy & security and everything seems to be as needed but still no go. I installed a new BM software update to 12.4.2 but no go. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but still no go. Something between macOS and the decklink software doesn't want to communicate and im not sure where to go next.

Like I said I've been through the security settings and allowing the appropriate apps to run so unless there is something new to deal with there I don't think that's the issue.

If anyone has any insight I would greatly appreciate it.

You may have updated the Mac system software passed what the Decklink supports.

I was having a similar issue with my Deckling Duo2 cards in Sonnent enclosures. I have 2 identical setups of one Duo2 card in a sonnet enclosure. I have been using these for about 1.5 yrs now on a variety of Macs (iMac Pro intel, Mac Studio M1 and now Mac mini M2). Also a variety of OS versions. The Minis are the only ones running Ventura. They were ordered at the same time, with the same specs. I have had no issue on the iMacs or Studios (outside of mismatched software or user error). I went to use the Decklnk card on one of the Minis the other day and it would no show in Desktop Video (12.4.2) or in my playback program. The enclosure acknowledged it was plugged in to the computer. I moved it to the other Mini and it showed everywhere immediately. Once back in the shop, I set them back up and the same behaviors with both enclosures on both computers and also with Ultrastudio Recorders and Monitors. The one would see it all, the other showed nothing. So I was able to rule out a setup issue (I do rentals for events, so I could have set something wrong and not noticed, even with spending about an hour on this). I ended ups removing Desktop Video with the uninstaller and reinstalling it. This time it specifically opened the Apple security page to allow the BMD video drivers to run (not the program). Once I accepted that, it runs and shows as expected. I know you said you had checked all of this, but I thought I had too. I didn't do the install of the program the first time on either machine so not sure if it came up and wasn't accepted or what happened. Hopefully this helps in some fashion.
