Best recommendations for sound card?

I have a dell xps desktop which costed about 6k last year.

It has the standard Realtek sound card.

I'm thinking about buying a better sound card.

Any suggestions?

I don't know what I don't know.

I want to stop the problems I'm having with the audio intermittently stopping due to software selection or blue tooth disconnect crossed wires situation. I need a hard wired solution I think?

I also want to use zoom calls in vmix with ease. I also need to record q and A live streams.

I also need go use DaVinci resolve for editing.

Thanks

Mobo audio has gotten so good that there just aren't many options for Sound Cards these days.

My first thought is NOT use any Bluethooth audio. Use only wired audio.

For the best quality I'd use an external audio device. No internal sound card will deliver the quality you need for professional recording applications.

I particularly like the Focusrite Scarlett series of audio interfaces as value option and RME as a premium option, but there are tons of devices from other manufacturers available on the market.
