Bi Directional SDI - HDMI Convertor Question

PostThu Mar 16, 2023 5:16 pm

I have several SDI Sources that I want to connect to an ATEM Mini switcher. I previously used a Micro convertor SDI to HDMI to get from the camera to the switcher but after a failure I have now got a Bi-Directional SDI-HDMI Micro convertor but I cant get an output from it when going SDI to HDMI. It does give an output when going HDMI to SDI. Am I doing something wrong - do I need to set up which direction is the conversion?

Sounds like the unit may have failed and need to be replaced.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
