I'm trying to get talkback in & out of the RJ45 connection of my studio converter (with Studio Cam 4K Pro).
Talkback is set to analog in the menu, the talkback (production) output is working but not the input.
The same breakout cable is working perfectly fine on ATEM constellation models.
According to the manual the pinout for both should be the same.
Any thoughts?

Have you tried eng input, if that works?

Support brought back my memory:) Because there is no video generator inside the unit, so as long as you don't connect any return signal, there won't be any audio travelling back to camera. The recognition immediately solved on my side.
