Any experts here on IP addressing for NDI (client locations)

Hello...

I'm looking for some technical expertise.

I've been live streaming with NDI on PTZ cameras with Ecamm on a Mac.

We go to a clients location for the Live Stream, but I may not have access the IP or IT setup.

I've had some success where the cameras work and send video to Ecamm because we can setup the IPs OK.
But sometimes they don't, even though we have the ability to manually set the IP addresses.

Technically...I know just enough to be dangerous, but not enough to fix this.

I'm looking for a bit of technical help with someone who may have a way to help me figure out what I'm missing.

I am looking to buy BlackMagic Studio Cameras with NDI, but it will be pointless if I have the same troubles when we are constantly setting up a different locations.

Looking for some help, advice or direction.

Blackmagic Studio/Ursa Cameras are not NDI capable. In fact, neither NDI or SRT are currently supported by Blackmagic Design. You would need to put the likes of a Magewell, AJA or Birddog NDI encoder on the camera's SDI or HDMI output to enter an NDI environment.

Oh, OK my mistake.
Then I'm confusing NDI with ethernet connectivity.
I'll have to look a little closer then.
