running a 3 cam Studio 4k Pro setup via ethernet into Studio converters then on again into SDI extreme ISO switcher. cams getting POE via this also, inc. return vid etc..
We seem to be having issues with at least one of our Studio converters. it began faulting with camera tally issues - on off/flashing green at the camera - it has now progressed to only providing POE to the cam with no return or camera signals in either direction (sometimes it shows activity on the camera NIC then other times nothing) . Have factory reset, changed network cables (Cat6) to no avail and swapped around to the other converters. Has any one else had similar issues?
another possibly related question , is we have static IP (DHCP is not on) set on all of the converters and they are all the same IP - should we be running different IP addresses on each converter? - all kit running locally via small switch on their own network - with only the laptop is facing the internet.
*Edit Dec 2023 - traced to suboptimal patch leads - all upgraded to CAT6E - not perfect but now "usually" fire up first go after 20 secs or so , with 10GbE indicated on the studio converters.
