Videohub as ATEM alternative?

Could I use the Videohub in combination with an web presenter over an ATEM Constellation HD?

What would I miss?

About everything an Atem does..

Videohub does NOT Cleanswitch, Does not have Framebuffers, ( Unless you are talking about the 12x12 Cleanswitch model )

It can not fade, no transitions, no overlays, no nothing. Videohub is like a panel with a lot of switches on them. You flick a switch and a different signal will be put on the line.

But due to the fact it has no framesync, clean switch etc.. It will interrupt the video to the Webpresenter. The webpresenter will stop streaming due to loss of video, Might take 2/3 seconds before the Webpresenter has locked onto the new SDI signal.. so not recommended at all..

If you need several inputs on a Webpresenter then just go for a Atem 1ME or something..

and if U want streaming, try any different encoder ..

If U want something cheap , but working , then KILOVIEW is really good ..
