On newer Hyperdecks, and in the recent update to the Hyperdeck Extreme's that I own, I've noticed that in addition to h.264 quality settings for Low, Medium or High, I now see there is a h.264 SDI. I tried recording in the h.264 SDI mode and found that Quicktime wouldn't play it though VLC would (of course).
I've searched the forum and manuals and didn't see much. So what exactly is this h.264 SDI setting all about? Be nice.
