Showing which camera is live

PostSun Apr 16, 2023 1:21 pm

Hi,

I did my first two live streams using 3 cameras, two laptops, fibre optic HDMI lead and the ATEM Mini Pro and was very pleased with both results. One of the things that would have made it a bit smoother was if there would be a way to let each cameraman know they were live. Is there any form of API that can output this I am sure I could write a python script on a raspberry PI to light a small ultrabright LED which van be velcroed on the top of each camera.

Cheers

You can use the free apps Strata Light or Atem Tally on the mobile phones of the camera operators.

The protocol lots of switchers use is TSL UMD.

If you want a wireless tally light cuebi.com has done this.
