Smart VideoHub (12 x 12), 7-sec lag when switching inputs

Greetings, everyone.

We are relatively new with BM products.

We recently purchased ATEM SDI Extreme ISO, 12 x 12 Smart Videohub, and 3 non-BM cameras (plus BM micro-converters) for our auditorium. We use Mac and Windows laptops as our other input sources.

My issue is with regards to the 7-second lag to our main projector whenever I switch input.
Is there a way to minimize this 7-sec lag? It is quite long. Am I missing something here?

UPDATE:

The issue is now resolved!

I "risked" buying BMD's UpDownCross HD mini converter (as it is cheaper than the other brand), and after tinkering with the DIP switches, placed it in lieu of the SDI-HDMI micro-converter at the projector side.

And voila, the looong lag is now gone.
