Hi everybody,
have been using the teleprompter feature on the Shuttle for quite a while now,
frequently running into the problem that the machine creates line breaks (CR/LF)
erratically mid word. Deliberately set line breaks are sometimes ignored.
Not even long words, which would be explicable.
I think we need a firmware update that makes sure that there is no line break
inside words unless the word is longer than the line itself.
Aside of that the prompter feature is a godsent.
I feed the output into a small control field monitor with loop out
and then on to the prompter monitor.
Three possibilities:
1 Field monitor can flip the image, then Hyperdeck sends flipped to the prompter.
2 Prompter monitor is an industry device and can flip
2 None can flip, monitor out goes to a splitter, and prompter monitor is flipped by an external scaler.
I use all three with different models of screens and prompters.
