ATEM Mini Pro ISO - Control | Stream | Record - Possible?

Hello, I'm looking to purchase the ATEM Mini Pro ISO to stream a live event. The event organizer will be providing me a ethernet cable for internet connection. Not sure if a Wifi signal will be available.

My hope is to:
Connect ATEM to Macbook Pro to access ATEM Software (camera/audio controls)
Connect to network for live stream directly from ATEM
Connect to USB-C portable drive for ISO recording

Since there is only one USB-C and one ethernet connection, is that possible? If so how would i set that up? I'm assuming i'd have to connect my USBC from the ATEM to my portable hard drive and ethernet from ATEM to Macbook for software control. But how do i get network/internet to the ATEM for live streaming?

Since i don't own yet,i cannot test so was hoping for some insight before i spend the money. Thank you!

I not use live function, but you can manage atem connected to router, you not need to connect Ethernet direct to MacBook to manage it.
Software can find it on your lan.
I can manage my atem mini pro from an iPad app Mixeffect that find atem on my lan and connect to it with out be connect it directly to my Mac or pc.

The easiest way to achieve this is using a mini travel router to create your own internal network for the Macbook and the ATEM. The GL.iNet routers (like GL-SFT1200) are ideal as they also provide your own WiFi network for the Macbook and can be powered by USB-C.

You configure your your router with an internal network for an IP address range that's not commonly used (e.g. 172.20.20.0/24), and the WAN connection to use DHCP. You then connect your ATEM to a LAN port on the travel router and your Macbook via WiFi and plug the venue's Ethernet cable to the WAN port. The USP port of the ATEM is free to be used with an SSD for recording.

This also isolates the unencrypted and unauthenticated ATEM software control from the public network so nobody can interfere with your system.

Thank you for this. I did a test doing something similar, but instead of a router i'm using a switch. Not fully knowing everything about networking, is there a bid difference between using a router and a switch for this application? Is using a switch bad, especially when connecting to a 3rd party network?

Thanks.
