Crazy color fault

PostThu Apr 27, 2023 5:43 pm

Hi all,

we have a lecture hall equipped with two beamers and one monitor.
They all get the same HDMI signal (i think ...). This room is not
in my responsibility.

When i connect a laptop, everything is ok. All units show the same picture.

When i connect the HDMI out from a Hyperdeck to this setup, one (!) beamer
shows a color cast. Very much red in the picture. The other beamer and the
monitor are ok. The same problem occurs, when i use a BMD SDI/HDMI converter,
attached to a Hyperdeck SDI out.

Any idea, where i have to search for this strange error?

Greetings

Possibly a colour space issue RGB/YUV.

If you're lucky it might be a setting in the rogue projector menu.

Well, i still have no access to the equipment in this class room, but i found a workaround:

I am now using a cheap SDI/HDMI converter (SpeaKa Professional) and now it works!
