YouTube Does Not Receive Enough Data

Hi Everybody,

I have the problem that I cannot stream more than 4.5 Mbit/s to YouTube. I have tried several Internet connections and found out that bandwidth is not the problem. The same problem occurs on each of the connections at the same point: shortly above 4.5 Mbit/s:

The 'ON AIR' sign stays at full throttle but YouTube reports that it does not receive enough data to ensure a constant stream. Then, often, but not every time, the stream stalls. After a while the stream continues and tries to catch up to live. During that process, the steam jumps to skip lost passages.

On first look, this seems to be an internet problem, but I have tried four different connections - wired and LTE -and found them all failing exactly at the same point.

My BM-hardware is an ATEM mini pro with the latest Firmware. I am trying to stream a 1080/30fps Video to YT

Does anybody experience the same problem or have an idea what I can do?

Thank you for your time.

I do have the same message coming up once in a while but it only slows the live stream.
My internet speed/connection is excellent so that is not the problem.
Not sure what to do about it.

When I switch to a graphic still, I see that message all the time. (Because the graphic doesn't need a lot of bits, and the ATEM will reduce the bitrate accordingly.)

I just ignore it.
