No longer live to stream the camera on the Desktop

I recently updated Blackmagic 6K camera. Before the update, I used to live stream the recording on a desktop by connecting a HDMI cable to the desktop. However, after the update, I cannot live stream the recording.
Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Your desktop has an HDMI Input?

Yes, the Desktop has a HDMI input :D, before the recent update, I was able to live stream the video on the desktop by connecting the HDMI cable from Camera to the Desktop. However, after updating the software, I am not able to live stream. Do I need to change any settings in the camera to live stream?

Thank you

OK.

When you connect the camera to a monitor over HDMI, do you get signal?

I get a power signal, like when we switch on the monitor only with a power cable.

However, I am not able to get any signal from the camera.

To be clear, I was using the same Cable and same monitor before updating the camera, and I used to live stream it. However, after the update, I am not able to live stream. Do we have any setting in the camera to live stream the recording?

Streaming is the second step here.

You seem to be stuck on step 1, getting a signal out of the camera.

Connect other devices using the same HDMI cable and monitor, to verify those do indeed work.

Yes, I have checked connecting my laptop with the same HDMI cable, and the monitor works without any issue.

What Blackmagic capture hardware does your desktop computer have installed?

Hi @ManchesterV, thank you for your reply.

The query is "I used to live stream the recording from BlackMagic 6K camera on a monitor using HDMI cable. However, after a recent update of camera, I am not able to live stream."

Please note the monitor and HDMI cable are perfect, I have checked by connecting other devices to the same monitor and with HDMI cable, and it works fine. Moreover, I used the same monitor and HDMI cable before the update for live streaming, and it was working fine.

Do I need to do any camera settings for live streaming the recording on the monitor?

Please let me know.

Thank you.

Unless you can say what capture hardware you have installed nobody can help with live streaming.

If you just can't get an image on a computer monitor then it's likely the camera output settings need adjusting to something the display can handle.

OK.

That sounds like you have an issue with the HDMI port on the camera. My only idea at this point is to have it serviced.
