Hyperdeck shuttle HD won't play MP4

Hyperdeck shuttle HD won't play MP4

I bought a Hyperdeck Shuttle HD to use for playback of random MP4 files during a live event. If I record to the SD card the files show up. If I load a mp4 from a client it will not show up in the list at all. So frustrating since it was advertised as a playback for live or streaming events. Not sure where to go from here. I tried every codec setting on it and they still won't show up. Any advice is appreciated. I was trying to get away from using a computer and playback pro.
