ATEM Mini Pro ISO question

Looking to answer this question before purchasing the Atem Mini Pro ISO.

It appears to have one USB-C connection that can either be used to connect to a PC & work as a webcam (for streaming to Zoom). Or it can be used to connect to an external SSD to record the ISO & program streams.

Is it possible for the unit to do both at the same time. I need to stream to Zoom while recording the ISO feeds.

Many thanks.

That's a good reason to get the Extreme ISO instead, the USB-C on the Mini Pro ISO can't do both at the same time.

That's not possible because that's not how USB works. Even though USB-C uses the same type of connector for host and device, every USB connection still has one dedicated host and one or many devices (using hubs).

Due to this fundamental limitation of USB, the ATEM Mini Pro (ISO) can either function as a device (when connected to a PC) or as the host (when connected to a mobile phone or a USB drive) but not both at the same time. The ATEM Mini Extreme ISO has two USB interfaces and can connect to a drive and a PC simultaneously.
