Quick ATEM and Camera Question

I'm a bit new to the scene and had a couple of questions. I currently use an ATEM Mini Extreme ISO and 4 Studio Camera 4K Plus' to record. Currently, the ATEM is etherneted into our internet port, HDMI'd to a monitor, and a laptop has the software on it. This might sound stupid, but is this possible to do without the internet? Can I plug the ATEM directly into the laptop?
Secondly, we've recently purchased a Pocket Camera 4k and I was wondering if it can be powered solely by the power supply, rather than the battery?
