After 4 hours of trying I´m about to give up....
I can´t get the PTZ Port on the Studio Fiber Converters to work.

Followed page 10 from here:

And wired everything accordingly.
I also set the CCU to use the 9pin input.

End devices are control Laptop and an Sony VTR. - Which works perfect without the Studio Fiber Converters in between.

So what am I missing? Does it only work with Visca protocol?? Is the PTZ tunnel not transparent?

The RS-422 from Studio Fiber Converter and Camera Fiber Converter only supports VISCA. It is not a pass through type of connection.

That´s bad news...

What about the ethernet port then? Can it be enabled by BMD, please? We´re waiting for years now to have this working.
And due to the fact that the PTZ Port is not transparent, it´s becoming even more requested...

Andreas why are you even bothering.. You know that Ereca and other brands have better Fiber units available..

The Erecas are nice. We’re using them for both Panasonic UEs and GV LDX86N compacts, zero issues.

He is trying to control a sony VTR.. No PTZ cam if i'm reading the first post correct..

Why might be a better question. These things aren't exactly rare or expensive.
