ATEM 1 M/E Broadcast Panel Issues

PostWed May 17, 2023 4:14 am

Our ATEM 1 M/E Broadcast Panel just went out. One of the power supplies has been out for a while. All the lights will turn off except Control Panel Main and Backup lights will flicker with nothing connected. Today unplugging and reapplying power didn't resurrect it. Any ideas of what could be wrong or know of anyone that works on them? Blackmagic said it was a legacy product and they don't keep parts anymore.

Those LED's flickering i would say your PSU's gone bad..

Open it up. Check if it has only 2 power connections to the mainboard.. If so you might be able to replace it with an off the shelf 12V power supply. As the older panels had an external power supply which was 12V anyway. ;)

Have you solved the problem?
Recently I meet the same problem too. The panel is an old panel in our school that hasn't been used for quite a while, and when we once again need to use it, the panel has exactly the same phenomenon as this.
