While working on setting up for a production I found out that using the BMPCC4K with an ATEM switcher (purely for remote control, not actually for the switcher functions) you lose the ability to record in-camera in ProRes. If I'm looking to get the best equivalent, should I just match bit rates and chose the equivalent BRAW and then convert to ProRes in post or are there other considerations to be made?

BRAW is superior to ProRes, so...there's that.
