Atem mini pro is for me...?

Hello,

I have been streaming for a little while and wish to upgrade my equipment and am looking at a mini pro but want to ensure it's right for me.

I currently have the following set up:

3 USB cameras
I use a 920, 922 and streamcam but am experiencing occasional conflicts and cameras being deactivated while live (was worse when running 2 of same type). As all 3 currently go straight into the graphics card, I'm thinking of taking it all away from the PC and having one input via a switcher like the Atem mini pro - just letting the pc encode and upload to Restream/Twitch/YT etc. Can I convert the current USB input on the cameras to HDMI input without any issues? And is the Mini pro faster or slower screen to screen than a reasonable desktop? I've created an ultra low latency stream server so don't want to undo all that effort.

I understand I can stream directly from the mini pro - can anybody give me the pros and cons of this as I currently use some overlays in OBS which I think you can add to the mini pro as macros (?), but I don't think it will cover all the other things I can add to a scene in OBS including JS widgets etc.

I also have a 1 USB camera set up on another pc which I'm thinking of changing to a DSLR/mirrorless and currently a Rebel T7 appears to be the most popular - I appreciate this it a blackmagic forum, but if anybody has an opinion on the best DSLR/mirrorless in problematic/low light environments would be greatly appreciated.

I might even run that through the mini pro too and do away with 2 pcs.

All advice appreciated, thanks.
