video input and sound output simultaneously?

I am using a Decklink Studio 2 Card.
I noticed, that I can only input or output at one time, but not simultaneously.

Any chance, I can have (live-)video input (just image, without sound), while outputing analog audio at the same time?

The current DeckLink cards are not bidirectional, so simultaneous input and output is not supported. The only output that will occur while you are inputting to the card is the pass through, so if you had video and audio being captured, the pass through would send that video and audio out of the card at that time, unprocessed of course.

thanks for that answer. I somehow expected something like that. Really too bad! I know it is not a common request, since it is not made for such things, but for me it would have been really!! useful.
Well, maybe I can figure out a work-around....
