Blackmagic Audio Monitor

PostMon Feb 03, 2014 5:22 pm

Bought this unit b/c it's the best priced monitor that takes embedded audio. The output level, however, is horrible. It's way too low to use even when cranked. Has anyone else used these and had this problem?

Yep, we've complained about the low output as well.

Yea, that box was yet another disappointment. Its only use is a "verify that the audio is there unit". Not worthy of any form of quality control whatsoever. Not saying it this way to jab. This is just a simple fact.

If you your task requires quality assurance, then you need a real audio monitor = Wohler.

Well, damn. What a waste of money. Especially since they advertise it as perfect for noisy conditions. Thanks for your input guys.

Yea, they give you a lot of specs on this unit, except the a few that matter when it comes to audio. How about, max output dB levels and frequency response of this unit?
