BMD ATEM 1/ME 4k issue at 1080i with Kramer scaler
Posted: Mon Feb 03, 2014 8:36 pmI can't get my ATEM 4k 1/ME to work with the Kramer VP437N at 1080i.
My setup:
Component Cable TV box + old iMac + dvd player --> Kramer scaler (HDMI) set to 1080i (59 or 60--doesn't matter)--> ATEM input 1 set to HDMI at 1080i 59.94.
Same setup works if I set the switcher and scaler to work at 1080p.
I could deal with using 1080p (and want to) but my cameras don't do 1080p at 60 Hz. In the meantime, I need to know why I'm having an issue and what I can do to resolve my issue.
I've tried a different Kramer scaler with no luck at either 1080i or 1080p. I've also tried the Gefen HDMI detective with no luck.
I can send back the scaler if I need and purchase something else. Any ideas?
