Hello,
i hope you help me, a buy this ATEM STUDIO TELEVISION For mixing camera and a live score for squash match.
So the problem is when i try to aply chroma key green the flag color hide.
I see a possibility to use DSK with crop... it's possible with this module ?
Or could someone help me ?

If you are using croma key you can't use Dsk1 or 1. You must use upstreamkey because thats the only keyer with croma key.

You can of course use the mask function and bypass the croma keying. Start by changing the top with small changes to place it at the top of your score, then adjust the other 3 sides to block out all green areas.

Yes you can make a mask.

Click on the + next to the downstreamkeyer you are using.
Make sure that you have the same source for both key and fill (the input you are using).
Unmark the pre multiplied key box.
Adjust the clip and gain so that you have the picture in full in front of the background cameras
Click the box enable mask.
Start by changing the top with small changes to place the cropping at the top of your score, then adjust the other 3 sides to block out all green areas.

Create a b/w graphics in the same format as your scoring. All "green" in your score graphics must be black in the mask, all other colors must be white. So your mask has a white rectange on black background. Put this graphics in a media player and use it as "key" source in DSK. "Fill" is your original graphics (In the other media player)...

But how do you update the score ? Squash is a very fast sports....

When using Photoshop, you can create graphics with alpha channel. Then you don't need such a trick, because the alpha channel "tells" the ATEM what to key out.... Ther is a plugin, sendinge direct from Photoshop to ATEM (but I never tried it)

The fastest way is to use a Character generator like the free (!!!) CasparCG. When you often need the scoreboard, give CasparCG a try.....

Use photoshop and not 'the best way, I always load the result ... I did develop a system that works on Android.
The arbiter arbitrates with a tablet which sends two mini pc with hdmi output, one screen (the screen and 'sideline) with the progress of the game, while the second comes nell'ATEM Television studio and gets to see only results overlay. For this i prefer if is possible use a mask!!
so i dont'know if i post the link of the product.....if yes is more 'easier to understand my request

Maybe take o look to CasparCG. Its professional, but open source - develloped by swedish television for their own use.

You can create amazing templates with all you want and know from television eg. semi transparency and moving elements (Adobe Flash required for creating - maybe take the free 30 day trial).

You can contol CasparCG with self develloped controller software, also from a tablet...

(How generates your "second PC" the graphics form the incoming data ? I think, you only have to modify the program from "writing to screen" to "writing to CasparCG")

OK, for semi transparency you'll need two outputs (Key and Fill).... (When desktop PC is used, take two cheep Blackmagic "mini minitor" cards)

So i look, but i need the minimum hardware because the streaming is accesible at all... Only switch on camera ecc... but i look the program and talk at the my software man, in any case i hope the solution of Hatl its possible with only the Atem Television Studio module ....
