Due to our setup, we are forced to go with 720p 59.94 HZ. I need to convert DVI to SDI coming from an Analog Way Pulse. One of the recorders we are routing it to requires 59.94. However when I send 720p 59.94, the DVI to SDI converter appears to be outputting 525 59.94, at least according to our KiPro Recorder. When I change the rate to 60 Hz, it works and I am I seeing 720p 60 Hz. When I change it to 50 Hz, I see 720p 50 Hz. So what is the issue with 59.94? What makes this really strange is that 1080i 59.94 works just fine. Any thoughts would be helpful.
