iMac Pro Presenter VGA Output to ATEM Television Studio
So here's the issue I'm running into:
I work for a church that is now using the ATEM Television Studio as our video switcher and for recording our services. And for the our lobby, childcare room, and video podcast we want to be able to place whatever is on our Pro Presenter display screen (coming from an iMac) into the video (i.e. bible verses, videos, photos, etc.). The problem is that this is the same feed which goes to our projectors in the main sanctuary and our room is currently set-up for VGA. Switching away from VGA is not really an option.
I've tried using a VGA to HDMI converter which goes into the TVS and this is not working. I've made sure the display is set for 1080 and is running at 60hz. When I plug it into other displays it seems to be working totally fine.
When I used a Thunderbolt to HDMI converter and went straight into the ATEM TVS it work perfectly fine. But in order to make this work with our set-up I would need to use some kind of HDMI splitter/amplifier that can convert to VGA for the projectors and preview monitor in our video room. Once I run it through a HDMI splitter it is not showing up on the TVS.
I've tried a lot of different configurations and have had no success.
Any help with this I would greatly appreciate.
