4k will not recognize Macs?

I have tried every setting I can think of - and still my brand new ATEM 4k will not recognize either of my Mac outputs.

I see that many others have found this to be a challenge as well. I know all devices need to be set to the same standard/resolution. Still no success!

Any suggestions would be oh so greatly appreciated!

You do have Thunderbolt ports not Mini display ports correct? They're the same size but have different icons.

He's trying to use his macs as a camera source so mini display or thunderbolt would work
