Intensity Shuttle for Thunderbolt not recognized by software

I bought an Intensity Shuttle for Thunderbolt on eBay, and it arrived last week. But while it is recognized by the operating system (macOS Sonoma 14.1.1 on a 2021 MacBook Pro 16-inch), it is not recognized by either Desktop Video 12.7.1 or OBS. I emailed customer support, and their response was so poor that it felt dismissive. I provided them with what they requested, and I have been waiting 5 days.
What could I do to get it working? My plan is to primarily use the composite and S-Video inputs.
