I'm struggling with audio in the media pool for a stinger transition.

I have a tga sequence that is 170 frames and an audio file that matches both loaded into Clip 1 and set to MP2. When I use the Stinger transition, the tga sequence plays beautifully, but the audio does not play at all.

The audio file I have is a .wav - stereo, 48Khz, 32 bit. I have tried to load .mp3 files in at various sample and bit rates, but it seems as though the software won't accept those.

What do I need to do to play audio with my transition?

Surprised no-one was able to answer this. Even to say it's not possible to play audio files with a stinger transition, though that sounds improbable.

Have you unmuted the Media Player in the Audio Mixer-tab? I seem to remember it shows up as a source there...

The media players support WAV, MP3 and AIFF but I'm not sure if 32-bits is supported. I would be safe and use 16 bits. You have to enable the audio for the media player in the audio mixer by either setting it to ON or AFV.
