PCC6K ProRes/16:9 deactivated when connected to Atem Extreme

When the Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2 is plugged through HDMI to the Atem Extreme Mini ISO the codec menu changes and doesn't allow to select any 16:9 ratio so the result is any other aspect ratio with two black stripes at the PROGRAM.


The only way to get FULL HD in the atem is connecting a monitor with in and out HDMI or with two converters HDMI to SDI and SDI to HDMI again, but I lose the tally and control functions. (Yes, I can use a second SDI cable to get remote control again, but it changes again to and undesired aspect ratio).

I have the same problem with my BMCC6K full frame. It only does the DCI aspect with selections over 1080p HD. If I want no black bars at the top and bottom of the frame I have to select 1080p which is very cropped. If you sever the camera control it works to select ProRes but you loose control. By the way, the BMCC6K full frame does not have ProRes but does have a 1080p setting in BRAW. If I want the best quality picture, I have to choose DCI on all my cameras and put-up with the black bars.

BMPCC 6k does not work in 60fps using full sensor. If you choose 50 or less it will allow you to use 6k 16:9 setting.

ProRes is always not available when camera is connected to ATEM return signal.
